Por volta 12h30 come&ccedil;ou a circular em car&aacute;ter experimental o BRT, com &ocirc;nibus articulados que fazem a liga&ccedil;&atilde;o entre Barra da Tijuca e Santa Cruz, na Zona Oeste.</p>
<p>Previsto para funcionar provisoriamente fora dos hor&aacute;rios de pico - das 10h &agrave;s 15h - devido ao atraso na inaugura&ccedil;&atilde;o, os novos &ocirc;nibus s&oacute; come&ccedil;aram a circular, nesta quarta, &agrave;s 12h, cerca de duas horas depois. Nesta primeira etapa, que vai at&eacute; o pr&oacute;ximo dia 23, estar&atilde;o funcionando apenas nove esta&ccedil;&otilde;es, com 11 &ocirc;nibus circulando. <p><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 18px;"> O evento foi fechado &agrave; autoridades, patrocinadores e a imprensa internacional. </span><br /><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 18px;"> A cerim&ocirc;nia deu as boas-vindas aos jogos ol&iacute;mpicos de T&oacute;quio 2020, atrav&eacute;s de um ritual tradicional da &eacute;poca dos samurais, o Kagami-biraki, que &eacute; a quebra da tampa do barril de saqu&ecirc;, com um brinde onde todos compartilham a bebida.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 18px;">Dentre os convidados que participaram estavam Leonardo Picciani, Ministro do Esporte, Carlos Arthur Nuzman, Presidente do Comit&ecirc; Ol&iacute;mpico do Brasil e Emilio Kalil, Presidente da Funda&ccedil;&atilde;o Cidade das Artes, respons&aacute;vel por gerir o espa&ccedil;o que, durante a Rio 2016, foi a Casa do Jap&atilde;o, ajudando a difundir a arte e a cultura nip&ocirc;nica, al&eacute;m de promover Tokyo 2020.</span></p>]]></description>

O grupo subiu ao palco pontualmente &agrave;s 19h, usou bumbos e interpretou m&uacute;sicas que criticam a destrui&ccedil;&atilde;o do meio ambiente. Em seguida, foi a vez do Royal Blood levantar o p&uacute;blico, com uma performance que usa s&oacute; baixo e bateria. Os norte-americanos do M&ouml;tley Cr&uuml;e, que est&aacute; em sua turn&ecirc; de despedida, levou labaredas e dan&ccedil;arinas para o Palco Mundo. Metallica foi a &uacute;ltima a se apresentar neste s&aacute;bado. Nem mesmo a parada do som, ocasionada pela desconex&atilde;o da sa&iacute;da de som entre a mesa da banda e do festival, tirou o g&aacute;s p&uacute;blico - que aproveitou cada minuto da apresenta&ccedil;&atilde;o. Em turn&ecirc; de comemora&ccedil;&atilde;o pelos 20 anos de lan&ccedil;amento de seu &aacute;lbum de estreia, os roqueiros fizeram a plateia bater cabe&ccedil;a o tempo todo, sinal de que o grupo arrepiou e fez hist&oacute;ria no Rock in Rio.</span></p>]]></description>
